If your hotel or hostel is in Tokyo, you could go to Kamakura!
Kamakura is located in Kanagawa prefecture. There was a Kamakura whogunate government 800 years ago, they put effort in tourism. Maybe that’s why we could see so many temples there, I assume.
If you are staying around Shinjuku or Ikebukuro, the Shonan-Shinjuku line is the easiest way to go to Kamakura.
Or you could take Odakyu line from Shinjuku station, transfer to Enoden line at Fujisawa station.
